Max Clicks Limit
The max clicks feature lets you set a limit on how many times a short link can be clicked before it stops redirecting. This feature is available on Pro and Max plans.
Setting a Max Clicks Limit
- Create or edit a short link.
- Click the Max Clicks option in the link settings.
- Enter the maximum number of clicks allowed.
- Save the link.
What Happens When the Limit Is Reached
- The short link stops redirecting to the destination URL.
- Visitors see a max clicks reached page informing them the link is no longer available.
- The link remains in your dashboard and the limit can be increased or removed.
Use Cases
- First-come-first-served offers — Limit a discount link to the first 100 clicks.
- Limited downloads — Restrict a file download link to a specific number of downloads.
- Controlled distribution — Ensure content is only accessed a certain number of times.
- A/B testing — Limit exposure to a specific number of visitors.
Managing the Limit
You can change the max clicks limit at any time:
- Increase the limit — Edit the link and enter a higher number.
- Remove the limit — Clear the max clicks field to allow unlimited clicks.
- View current clicks — Check the link's analytics to see how many clicks have been used.
