Creating and Managing Links

UrlHub provides a comprehensive set of tools for creating and managing your short links.

Creating a Short Link

1. Navigate to the Links page in your dashboard.
2. Click the Create Link button.
3. Enter your Destination URL.
4. Optionally customize the Short Link alias — if left blank, a random alias is generated.
5. Optionally add tags, UTM parameters, or enable Pro features (URL expiry, password, max clicks).
6. Click Create.

Editing a Link

1. Find the link you want to edit on the Links page.
2. Click the edit button on the link card.
3. You can modify:
   • Destination URL
   • Tags
   • URL expiry (Pro/Max only)
   • Password protection (Pro/Max only)
   • Max clicks (Pro/Max only)
   • Deep link settings (Pro/Max only)
   • Meta title and description (Pro/Max only)
4. Save your changes.

Archiving Links

If you no longer need a link but want to keep it for reference:

1. Select links using the checkboxes on the Links page.
2. Click the Archive button.
3. Archived links stop redirecting but remain in your account.
4. You can unarchive links at any time to restore them.

Bulk Operations

Bulk Create

Create multiple short links at once by importing a list of destination URLs.

Bulk Delete

Select multiple links and delete them all at once.

Bulk Archive

Select multiple links and archive them in one action.

Exporting Links

Export all your links as a downloadable file for backup or reporting. Go to the Links page and use the export option to download your data.

Searching and Filtering

Use the search bar on the Links page to find links by:

• Short URL alias
• Destination URL
• Tags

You can also filter by status (active, archived) to narrow down your results.
